Opera Next 24.0 - How We Found It...?

Yesterday, I downloaded the latest version of Opera Next which is Opera Next 24.0.1558.25 and found it awesome. I am a die-hard Firefox fan but still I found it really well.

Also it has one or two features that are unable to found in Mozilla Firefox. So basically what's the difference between simple Opera Browser and Opera Next...?

There are some differences, though they are not big. The first difference is the icon...

:D Not joking, but yeah it surely is a difference. Given on its official website, Opera Browser's icon is:

Where as the Opera Next's icon is a silvery and highly-defined icon:

What are the major differences between Opera browser and Opera Next...? Well, to tell you, there are no major differences but let me explain you.

Opera

Opera is a web-browser, a really fast one, and really easy-to-use and skillfully-designed by Opera Software. It uses the Blink layout engine and was initially released in 1995 and since then has gained a lot of popularity and is an active warrior of  the browser war.

A major release happens approximately every two months.

Opera Next

Opera Next is what will become Opera Software's next major release, it means that Opera Next is beta software that is still under the stages of development and when you download it  you help Opera Software by testing it. It still contains bugs and though with time but efficiently, they are making it better and it is updated approximately every week. No new features or significant changes are introduced between the major releases.

The Next stream is what is often referee to, in development terms, as the testing stream.

How we found it...?

We found it quiet adjustable. Especially we liked its awesome features like:

  • The Stash option, which means if you liked a page and want to visit it later, you can store it in Stash.

  • The Off-road mode or Opera Turbo, which means that if you are on slow connection you can turn the Off-road mode or Opera Turbo on and it will get the webpages through Opera's servers while compressing them so it means that speed will dramatically increase and if this option is used on an already fast connection then speed will be pretty awesome.

Here are all the features that Opera Next's website displays:
