How To Remove Footer Credits From Premium Blogger Themes

Blogger is a great platform to build a website/blog on, and the main reason is that it has got thousands of free and premium templates for beautifying your personal page. There are many premium templates that offer you high end features, with your own branding and removal of their credits. But with that these templates also offer their free versions.
But if you are one of those people who ain't got no money to afford the purchase of these beautiful premium templates and so use their free versions, but still want to remove the footer credits as they are not having a good impact on your branding, then we have got a solution.

Nowadays, template makers have discovered a new and modern way to make sure that their credits remain there in your footer forever, and if you try to remove those credits you face a problem, and that problem is that you are automatically redirected to the website of that template maker. In this way whenever a visitor would visit your website, they'll be automatically redirected to the website of the company/person who made that template. Now that, indeed is highly intelligent. Let me explain you.

What was the old way?

Some years ago, template makers wrote their credits in the footers of the templates they made, by using HTML. It was really easy to remove such credits and still is. You just have to see your footer credits (for example, you have got Made By Amazing Templates written in your footer, if you want to remove it, just edit HTML template of your Blogger-powered blog, press Ctrl+F (activates the Find feature in a web-browser), and paste that Made By Amazing Templates there, and when your browser finds you these words, remove them).

What is the new way?

Now the template makers don't just write their credits in their templates by HTML. They kind of embed their credits there by using a script hosted on another server (mostly a Google server), and that script is programmed to show their credits, and when you remove that credit content, the script automatically redirects you to the website to template maker.

BUT DON'T WORRY! WE HAVE GOT SOLUTION!

This stuff may look really complicated to you but it ain't. We'll help you in this via help of screenshots. In the below image you can see the source of the credits:

This word mycontent is actually responsible for the credits being displayed in newer templates.

If we remove it, you know what's gonna happen? Yeah, we'll be redirected to the website to template maker and thus we are gonna lost visitors. So we are going to do a trick that won't remove the credits but will make them invisible! Yes, that's the idea. We'll teach you how to do it.

Copy <div style="visibility:hidden"> and paste it before the script and copy </div> and paste it after that. This will now look like this:

So, you are done!

Yep, now your credits are still there in your template footer but what loss are they giving you if they ain't even showing? ;)

Note: This tutorial is only for educational purposes, we don't encourage this kind of act because Blogger template makers work so hard for coding templates, and by removing their credits we aren't doing a good work for them. Do this only if you are sure that you cannot AFFORD the premium version of their templates.
