Note: We are not talking about WordPress.com but this tutorial teaches you to how to move your blog from a self-hosted WordPress website whose software is downloaded from WordPress.org, to a Blogger blog.
There are many reasons to move to Blogger from a self-hosted WordPress version. Some of them are that WordPress needs a domain to be run on whereas Blogger gives you its own free subdomain which is .blogspot.com so your blog looks like myblog.blogspot.com and moreover you can also map an existing domain name that you have already bought to your Blogger blog. With that Blogger gives you absolutely free hosting without any limit on bandwidth or space, but you'll never find a good web-hosting website for WordPress that is also free and also offers you these stuff free. AND - A Blogger-made website is never down - GUARANTEE! 99.99% Uptime. Whereas your hosted WordPress website could be down sometimes.
