Spartan is the codename for the new browser which was thought to be at first Internet Explorer 12, which would be released in the new Operating System that is under production by Microsoft, Windows 10. The company is looking to offer users a completely different Internet surfing experience from Internet Explorer, though it’s not clear whether Microsoft will unveil the new program at its Windows event scheduled January 21st. According to IGN, this new browser would include extension support, separate desktop and mobile versions, and it will utilize Microsoft's Chakra Javascript engine and Trident page rendering engine. It is said to have a look and feel similar to Chrome or Firefox.
